Talk-A-Lot Camp For children who have difficulty using language to express themselves or have difficulty being understoodText Box: 1:3 ratio, enrollment limited to 8 children per group Weekly themes such as “animals,” “family and me,” and “the beach” Camp activities include: circle time, movement games, arts & crafts, music/dancing, and snack time Language addressed according to appropriate developmental age Peer modeling opportunities available to encourage communication Special parent/camper activities scheduled every week to provide parents opportunities to enhance their child’s language development Text Box: By completing this camp, campers will learn to: Express the needs and wants in age-appropriate sentences Describe people and things in their environment using concepts of size, texture, and quantity Talk about events in the past, present, and future tenses Interact with their peers and adults in socially appropriate ways during everyday activities and games Text Box: When Session 1: July 20-August 14 3 days/WK 2 HR sessions Mondays-Wednesdays and Fridays 3:30—5:30 pm Text Box: Where San Jose Clinic Contact Please call the Office Manager at 408-978-2852 ext. 101 to enroll www.cslot.com Text Box: Fee $720 per child for each four-week session 50% deposit is required
