BrendanBrendan O’Connor Webster, M.A., CCC-SLP, BRSCL Although Mrs. Webster has been recognized by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Specialist in Child Language, she remains dedicated to working also with adults with speech, language, and voice problems. Accented communication remains an interest as well. She holds ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence, and has twice received ASHA’s Continuing Education Award. Mrs. Webster has been trained in PROMPT therapeutic methods for individuals with motor speech and articulation disorders, has taken multiple trainings in the SCERTS Model for children with Autism, and is certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment method for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Mrs. Webster received her license to practice speech pathology from the State of California Speech Pathology and Audiology Licensing Board. She lives at home in Menlo Park with her husband and has three grown children.

Jennifer_web Jennifer Adams, M. A., CCC-SLP, Assistant Director of CSLOT, received her Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach. Jennifer has been involved in using aspects of technology to assist in the implementation of therapy goals, and she has presented at an assistive technology conference on the topic of using technology to support curriculum. Other interests include early invention and parent education. Jennifer holds a California State License in Speech-Language Pathology, the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), a Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential in Speech, Language and Hearing Services, and a Postgraduate Professional License. Jennifer recently earned ASHA’s Award of Continuing Education.

Chelsea_Collins Chelsea Collins, M.A., CF-SLP received her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University.  She currently holds a California Rehabilitative Services Credential and is working toward her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  Prior to CSLOT, Chelsea’s  graduate training included the assessment and treatment of preschool and school-age children in both public schools and clinical settings.  She has been trained in the SCERTS model for children with Autism and is an active member of ASHA and the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA). Her professional experience and interests include early intervention, delayed speech and language development, Autism, auditory processing disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).  Additional interests include traveling, cooking and cycling.  Chelsea currently works in the Fremont clinic of CSLOT, where she leads an Early Intervention Clinic (EIC), provides individual speech an language therapy, as well as performs comprehensive evaluations.

Jenna_web Jenna Epperly, A.A., SLPA Received her Associate’s degree from Santa Ana College in 2007. She holds a California State License in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting and is continuing her education towards her B.A. and Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. She moved to San Jose from Southern California to continue her education. Jenna joined the CSLOT staff in September 2008, she has been trained in the SCERTS model treatment for autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Jenna has experience working with medically fragile children to adults in the County schools and in a private clinic. Jenna currently works in the San Jose clinic of CSLOT, where she provides individual treatment services to preschool children, as well as treatment in Early Intervention Group Clinics (EIC).

Paula_web Paula W. Gallay, M. S., CCC-SLP received her BS degree in Communication Disorders from UNC-Greensboro, and her MS degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands, California. She holds a State of California license, the ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a Rehabilitative Services Credential. Paula began her career with individuals in community re-entry, skilled-nursing facilities and hospitals, providing evaluation and treatment for cognitive impairments. She then took some time off to raise a family. In 2004, found herself in a unique position of being a clinician, and the mother of a child with autism, when her son was diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder. Paula has received training in Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking Program, and in the SCERTS model treatment for autism. Paula appreciates the cooperative relationship of the speech pathologist and the occupational therapist, when treating children with speech and language disorders. At CSLOT, San Jose , she provides evaluation and therapy for children and adults, as well as treatment in the Early Intervention Clinics (EIC).

Alana Alana Garcia, M.S.,CCC-SLP received her Master's degree from the University of the Pacific. She holds the Rehabilitative Services Credential. Her post-graduate training included the evaluation and treatment of children with speech and language disorders in both the school and clinic settings. It also included the evaluation and treatment of adults with speech and language disorders, cognitive impairments due to stroke and traumatic brain injury, and dysphagia in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She currently works at the San Jose clinic where she provides assessment and individual treatment as well as treatment in the Early Intervention Clinic in both English and Spanish.

Dawnweb Dawn Gold, M. S., CCC-SLP received her Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City . She holds a California State License in Speech Pathology and ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Dawn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she studied Bioethics, Spanish and psychology. Prior to coming to CSLOT, Dawn worked in Harlem at a public elementary school and in Washington, DC at an Easter Seals child development center with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. In the evenings, she conducted rehabilitative therapy with adults suffering from stroke, dementia, dysphagia, and neuro-degenerative diseases. Dawn’s professional experience and interests include bilingualism, developmental and adult-acquired language disorders, and accent modification. She is trained in LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for individuals with Parkinson Disease) and PROMPT (a speech therapy method for individuals with speech production disorders). Dawn currently works in the Los Altos office where she provides assessment and treatment in English and Spanish. Dawn is the coordinator of the Spanish Early Intervention Clinics company-wide.

Isabel_web Isabel Hartounian, M.S., OTR/L received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of California. She has experience providing home- and clinic-based therapy to children with a variety of developmental conditions, including autism and various genetic disorders. Isabel’s training and interests include: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), reflex integration (Musgutova method), sensory integration techniques, and the Handwriting Without Tears program. Additionally, Isabel is fluent in Polish. She is passionate about providing children opportunities to engage in their environments to their best potential while having lots of fun. Her current work includes early intervention, clinic-based, and school-based occupational therapy in the Fremont area.

Sara_K_web Sara Karle, B. A., SLP/A, received her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. She holds a California State License in Speech Language Pathology Assisting. Sara has experience working with preschool to school age children in the public schools. She also has 3 years of experience working in a socialization training and reinforcement group for children who have Autism. Sara currently works in the Fremont clinic of CSLOT, where she provides treatment in Early Intervention Clinics (EIC) and individual therapy to preschool children.

Larissa__web Larissa Ksar, M. S., OTR/L received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in occupational therapy from San Jose State University. She has experience working with children with physical disabilities, and has a passion for facilitating children to attain their fullest potential. Larissa has experience with neurodevelopmental treatment techniques, Handwriting Without Tear program, and KinesioTaping application. Her current work includes early intervention and clinic based occupational therapy.

Kristina-web Kristina Lobach-Elliott, MA, CCC-SLP received her Master's degree from San Jose State University in 2002. She holds a California State License in Speech Pathology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Kristina has been a therapist at CSLOT since 2002. She has experience in the evaluation and treatment of both children and adults with communication impairments. Kristina has been trained in the SCERTS model (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, Transactional Support) and PROMPT (treatment model for motor speech disorders). Kristina’s professional interests include early intervention, child articulation and language delays. She is the supervisor of the Early Intervention Clinic in Los Altos .

Shirit Megiddo, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Master's degree and Rehabilitative Services credential from California State University, Hayward . She holds a California state license in Speech Pathology and an ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Shirit's undergraduate background was in Biology and Linguistics. She has been a therapist at CSLOT since 2003. Shirit is trained in SCERTS (treatment model for Autism) and PROMPT (treatment model for motor speech disorders). Shirit's professional experience and interests are child language disorders and delays and pragmatics/social-language disorders and delays. She is also experienced in articulation and phonological disorders, auditory processing disorders, fluency disorders, and aphasia. At CSLOT, Shirit is the Summer Camp Coordinator for CSLOT's summer camps. She also leads a year-round Early Intervention Clinic (EIC) group and works with child clients both individually and in semi-private groups. Shirit is fluent in the Hebrew language, and conducts evaluations and therapy in Hebrew.

Angelina Angelina Mello, M.A., CF-SLP, received her Master’s Degree from San Jose State University.  She currently holds a California State License in Speech Pathology and is actively working towards earning her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  Angelina received her B.S. in child development in 2006 from Cal Poly, SLO.  Prior to coming to CSLOT, Angelina worked as a support teacher with the preschool and kindergarten populations within a Montessori School and a therapy aide for social groups within a clinic setting.  She spent her graduate work treating and assessing children both within a public school setting and within the Fremont CSLOT clinic.  Angelina currently works in the San Jose CSLOT clinic where she provides treatment within the Early Intervention Group Clinics (EIC) as well treatment and assessments with individual clients ranging in ages from infants to young adults.

Vibha Vibha Pathak, OTD, OTR/L received her Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from Manipal, India and her Master's and Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She has a passion for providing an environment for children to help them flourish. Originally from India , her current work includes early intervention, school based and clinic based occupational therapy. She has advanced training in sensory integration (SIPT certified), neuro developmental techniques and in Handwriting without Tears.

Rachel_web Rachel Porter, M.A., SLP received her Master’s degree from San Jose State University. Prior to coming to CSLOT, Rachel worked in skilled nursing and sub-acute settings. While working in the hospital settings, Rachel provided the evaluation and treatment of adults with speech and language disorders, cognitive impairments due to stroke and traumatic brain injury, and dysphagia. Rachel was also involved in the design of dining programs for stroke patients in the skilled nursing setting. Rachel currently works in CSLOT’s San Jose clinic, where she provides assessment and individual treatment to all ages, as well as treatment sessions in the Early Intervention Clinic in Spanish.

Brandi_web Brandi Quinsay, M. A., CCC-SLP received her Master's degree from San Jose State University in 2000. She holds a California state license in speech pathology and ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She officially joined the CSLOT staff in June 2000. Brandi's professional experience and interests are primarily child articulation and phonological delays, child language delays, pragmatics/social-language delays and early intervention. Brandi has been trained in both Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the SCERTS model (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, Transactional Support). She has 9 years experience working with children with Autism. Brandi is the supervisor of the Early Intervention Clinic in San Jose and coordinator of the Early Intervention Clinics and SCERTS program company-wide.

Maribel Maribel Serrano Delgadillo, M.S., CF-SLP received her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Francisco State University. She has experience providing rehabilitative therapy to adults recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injuries, and dysphagia. Her professional interests include dual language development, child speech and language disorders and therapy, accent modification, and rehabilitative therapy for adults with stroke and traumatic brain injuries. Maribel currently works at the San Jose and Redwood City clinics where she leads several Early Intervention Clinics and provides individual assessment and treatment in English and Spanish.

Michelle_web Michelle Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP received her Master's degree from San Francisco State University in 2003. She holds a State of California license to practice speech/language pathology, the American Speech and Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and a Rehabilitative Services Credential. Prior to coming to CSLOT, Michelle worked with both preschool and school-age children in a public school district. Michelle’s experience and interests lie in the evaluation and treatment of children with language disorders, articulation and phonological delays, social language difficulties, and auditory processing disorders. Michelle has experience providing therapy in social and pragmatic language groups for children, as well as facilitating the computerized Fast ForWord program for children with auditory processing disorders.

Doraweb Dora Thalwitz, M. S., OTR/L received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She has worked extensively with children with a variety of developmental delays and conditions in both school- and clinic-based settings, and has a particular interest in motor coordination and sensory processing skills. Dora has a passion for helping children thrive in their environments to reach their full potential. She works out of the Los Altos office providing evaluations and treatment for children with motor and sensory disorders. Dora is also a native speaker of both English and German.

SaraWweb Sara Williams, M.A., CCC-SLP received her Master's degree from San Jose State University where her graduate training included the evaluation and treatment of children with speech and language disorders in school and clinical settings. Sara also completed an internship at Dominican Hospital where she performed evaluations and treatment for adults with speech, language, swallowing and cognitive disorders due to stroke and traumatic brain injury. Sara's professional experience and interests are child speech/language/social disorders, and cochlear implants. Sara also enjoys working with adult clients who have dysphagia, aphasia, and traumatic brain injuries. At CSLOT Sara leads an Early Intervention Clinic (EIC), provides individual speech therapy, and conducts evaluations.
